About FoodChek™ Laboratories Inc.

FoodChek™ Laboratories Inc. (formerly Maxivet Inc.) is our state-of-the-art research and development facility, and located in Sainte-Hyacinthe, Quebec, Canada. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of FoodChek™ Systems Inc. (“FoodChek™”), located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

The laboratory specializes in the development and validation of diagnostic tools for detecting microbial pathogens throughout the human food chain. The lab team leads a robust program of research and development in support of the FoodChek™ mission.

Our expertise has permitted FoodChek™ to commercialize powerful food safety testing products, several of which are accredited by the United States based Association of Analytical Chemists (AOAC), with Performance Tested Method (“PTM”) Certification.

We offer the food industry a unique expertise in foodborne pathogens. The lab is registered with the Public Health Agency of Canada and accredited to handle pathogenic bacteria (Level 2).
